A STUDY OF LATENT ORDER
Information leaves a shape behind. Remove the names, mute the meaning, and a quieter system appears: repetition, position, interval, return—and growth.

THE OBSERVED SYSTEM
The source alternates between a three-part group and a two-part group. One position in each row is active. Across three passes, the same pair returns.
READOUT 3·2 / 1·1 / 3·2
THE SECOND SIGNAL
The annotation begins 0, 1, 1, 2—the opening of the Fibonacci series. Each value remembers the two before it. Continue the rule and the hidden line becomes 3, 5, 8, 13…
1 + 1 = 2 · 1 + 2 = 3 · 2 + 3 = 5
THE COMPANION SIGNAL
The second line—1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3—uses a different rule: write each number as many times as its value. One appears once, two appears twice, three appears three times. Continue it and four appears four times.
GROUP ENDS 1 · 3 · 6 · 10 / THE TRIANGULAR NUMBERS
Both patterns let existing numbers determine what comes next. Fibonacci uses value through addition; the companion sequence uses value as repetition. One accumulates sums, the other accumulates groups—two forms of information growing from its own internal rule.
DECODING THE PATTERN
Replace every word with a slot. The content disappears; the architecture remains.
Read the emphasized item only by position. The active sequence becomes 3, 2, 1, 1, 3, 2.
Fibonacci grows by addition; 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3 grows by frequency. Both let prior structure generate what follows.
